Eoghan Johnston is an accomplished guitarist & composer from Ireland. To date, Eoghan has toured internationally with members of AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Toto & more, been signed to Universal Records in London & has won many accolades in Ireland.

As a member of Irish Rockers The Rain, Eoghan won The Summit Bandslam 2011, was part of Today FM’s Ski Band in 2012, beat 900 other bands to win the Hot Press Lift Off Competition (2012) and won the Budweiser Future Sounds Competition (2013). The Rain signed with Shamrock & Universal Records London in 2012, releasing two top ten songs on iTunes in Ireland.

As a guitar player, Eoghan has toured internationally with such musicians as Chris Slade (AC/DC, Tom Jones), Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal (Guns N’ Roses, Art Of Anarchy), Bobby Kimball (Toto) and recorded original music with grammy winning producers such as Dave Odlum (The Frames, Kila), as well as Chris Kimsey (The Rolling Stones, Yes, Rory Gallagher) and Rob Kirwan (U2).

Eoghan’s latest music venture ‘The Midnight Preachers’ is currently putting the finishing touches to their debut EP. Their first single ‘California’ was released on January 1, 2019, and debuted at number 2 on iTunes.
